Morrison and AJ

I agree with Clinton Morrison: the thought of he and Andy Johnson finally getting some quality minutes together up front for Palace is a welcome one. In fact, I think that that duo, if fit, give Palace a pretty good chance at promotion assuming they finish in the top six of the table. Go Mo!

Crystal Palace 4-1 Norwich

Palace came through with a convincing 4-1 win over Norwich at Selhurst Park this past Saturday. Young Ben Watson had another great match, linking up with AJ (he's back!) and Clinton Morrison throughout the day.

Gaffer Iain Dowie was specific in his praise for the 20-yeard-old Watson: "Ben was colossal. I always believed he would be a top player and he is starting to show what he is capable of."

Yea, Ben!

Millwall 1-1 Palace

A gutting 1 point when three seemed likely. And in the south London derby, no less. Ugh.

Crystal Palace 2-1 QPR

Palace have defeated QPR at Selhurst Park 2-1 and now sit in fifth place in the Championship table. As they are now seven points in front of seventh-palce Cardiff--with a game in hand--Palace's playoff chances are looking good.

Goals by Morisson and McAnuff for the Eagles.

QPR Visit Selhurst Park

Just a quick FYI: AJ and Aki will likely be unfit for tonight's Palace match against Queens Park Rangers. Man, Andy Johnson has had some bad injury luck this season...

New US Men's Kits Unveiled

These Nike numbers will be in use for the World CUp this summer. Not bad, I say, expecially when you consider the wretched strips from years' past which made the baby Jesus cry.

Apologies

Consider this an apologia to the literally tens and tens of you who wake each morn with AbCrack on your mind. Several matches and stories ahve been missed, so without further Freddy Adu:

Crystal Palace are still in sixth place in the Championship Table, the fianl playoff spot. Look, they aren't going to catch Reading or Sheff Utd., so anywhere in that mix is okay. However, Andy Johnson could be unfit for many weeks thanks to a recent thigh injury. That's the suXX0r, glazier fans.

In other news: Freddy Adu was rumored to be heading to Stamford Bridge. How much he'd play at Chelsea atm is unclear, although frankly, he's not playing enough at DC Utd. right now anyway. Man Utd. have stated that they are not currently interested in signing Adu.

Finally...the United States men's team have recently defeated Norway 5-0 and Japan 3-2 in friendly matches. Commentators are starting to become Taylor Twellman fans after he notched his fourth goal in two games.
